Saucy FuzZ began in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, Alabama, coming together as a band in 2018 and has evolved into one of the area’s most sought after Power Trios consisting of Mason Henderson as Lead Vocals/Lead Guitar, James Earl Henson on Bass/Vocals and Kyle Thornton on Drums. These three powerhouse musicians have created a Rock/Progressive Rock/Indie Rock sound that has put them on venue stages and festival stages, averaging over 200 shows per year across the Southeast. Saucy FuzZ is a band of professional musicians experienced at adapting to all types of venues/events, exciting the crowd with their high energy, and creating a show that keeps fans begging for more!
This bands fresh take on ROCK has attracted a huge local following and continues to create an industry buzz. The members of this band have played together on and off for over a decade starting off together in 2011 as the band Whyte Caps which became local legends. Although some members and the name of the band has changed over time, one thing has not! This band has consistently produced mind blowing originals and crowd pleasing covers that continues to provide their fans with a musical outlet that rivals most.
Collectively these band members have accumulated some major accolades including: competing against seven other bands and being selected as the entertainment for the Mike Beaty Model & Talent Expo in Dallas, Texas with Mason winning the award for “Best Vocalist”, participated in Season 8 of the Voice, performing on WALA Fox Studio10 in Mobile, Alabama, was picked up on TK101 Under the Underground, performed an acoustic show on 96WLYB Radio and filmed for the program StudioAmped on WSRE TV Pensacola, Florida. Played for the Country Boy Eddy Show on WBRC Fox 6 in Birmingham, Alabama. Furthermore, the late Matt Roberts, lead guitarist for 3 Doors Down, along with Keylan Laxton, produced their first EP, “Four in the Van.” Over the years, these three band members have played at some of the best local venues like the Flora~Bama’s Mullet Toss, Vinyl Music Hall, Soul Kitchen, and rocked the stage and astounded audiences as the Opening Act for, Frank and Foster, Yo Mama’s Big Fat Booty Band, Marshall Tucker Band, Black Oak Arkansas, Fuel, Smash Mouth and Everclear. The Saucy FuzZ band members have played shows from Coco Beach, Florida to Los Angeles, California and as far North to Nashville, Tennessee. This year, Saucy FuzZ’s focus is on touring, promoting, and releasing a new album and continued massive exposure.
